Students have long been demanding the postponement of JEE 2022 dates due to clash with class 12 board exams and less time gap between the two sessions. In the official tweet from the Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, the minister says, “JEE Main 2022 exam dates have been rescheduled to allow students to prepare for JEE and board without having to worry about time.”
JEE Main registration for session 1 is over. Application forms were available from March 1 to April 5. Registration for the session 2 exams is slated to begin on April 8 but it is expected that the process will be delayed after the rescheduling of the exams.
NTA has also opened the JEE Main form correction facility on April 6. All registered candidates who have filled the JEE Main application form 2022 can make corrections in their filled form up to April 8. NTA had earlier specified that no correction facility will be provided at any stage of the application process under any circumstances but the facility has been provided considering the students' demand.
