JoSAA Counselling 2025 Details Out at josaa.nic.in; JEE Advanced Result for IIT Admission on June 2
The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) 2025 has released the rules of the JoSAA counselling process. Candidates have to register for the JoSAA counselling for admission to the IITs, NITs, IIITs and CFTIs with the JEE Advanced and JEE Main ranks. Know more details below.

The JoSAA 2025 counselling details for admission to the IITs, NITs, IIITs and CFTIs have been released at josaa.nic.in. However, the JoSAA 2025 counselling dates are yet to be released. The details of the JoSAA counselling process are available under the 'JoSAA Business Rule PDF' on the official website. The candidates are advised to download the business rule and go through the details of the JoSAA counselling thoroughly. The JoSAA 2025 business rule has details about the following:

LATEST: JoSAA Counselling 2025 Schedule Released; Registration Starts on June 3 at josaa.nic.in
Many other important instructions about the JoSAA counselling 2025 are included in the business rule, which the candidates are expected to understand before participating in the counselling process. JoSAA 2025 counselling registration will start on June 3, a day after the JEE Advanced 2025 result is released on June 2. Hence, the candidates need to be ready with the details and documents needed for JoSAA 2025 counselling as mentioned in the JoSAA 2025 rule book. Without completion of the JoSAA registration, candidates cannot proceed to the JoSAA counselling choice filling and seat allotment.

JoSAA counselling 2025 is expected to be held in five rounds. The schedule for all rounds will be made availablee soon at josaa.nic.in. Alonwith the schedule, the seat matrix and the list of all participating institutes are anticipated soon on the JoSAA official website. Candidates must track josaa.nic.in for regular updates on the JoSAA counselling 2025.
JEE Advanced 2025 Result for IIT Admission
Admission to all the IITs will be through JoSAA counselling based on JEE Advanced 2025 ranks of the candidates. The JEE Advanced ranks will be released with the JEE Advanced 2025 result on June 2 at jeeadav.ac.in.
The minimum marks needed to pass the JEE Advanced exam will be released with the result. Candidates will have to pass the JEE 2025 Advanced cutoff for each subject and also the aggregate cutoff marks. Only those candidates who will secure minimum marks in JEE Advanced 2025 will be included in the JEE Advaced 2025 AIR list for JoSAA counselling and IIT admissions.
The dates for JoSAA counselling 2026 choice filling will be announced once the result of JEE Main 2026 is declared. Candidates can fill choices only during the choice filling period. Also, candidates need to lock their choices before the last date.
The JEE Main 2025 result for NIT, IIIT and CFTI admission was released on April 18 at jeemain.nta.nic.in.
