KCET 2026 Registration Starts on January 17; Check Who are Eligible to Apply
KCET 2026 registration will start from tomorrow, Jan 17. Along with application form, detailed KCET notification 2026 will also be released. Till then, they can check who are eligible to apply for KCET.
KCET 2026: Karnataka Examinations Authority will commence KCET registration tomorrow, January 17, 2026. Candidates willing to get admission in UG courses in Engineering, Pharmacy, Agriculture and Veterinary Science can complete KCET 2026 registration online at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea. To register, they must meet Karnataka CET eligibility criteria that will be mentioned on notification.
Along with KCET registration link, KEA will also release detailed Karnataka CET notification PDF. Through that, candidates can know KCET registration 2026 last date, fees, documents required for application, eligibility, syllabus, exam pattern, marking scheme and other information.
As per earlier announced date, KCET 2026 exam is scheduled to be held on April 23 and 24. Whereas, KCET Kannada Language Test for Gadinadu and Horanadu candidates will be conducted on April 22, 2026. Karnataka CET is held in offline mode for 180 questions.
Who are eligible to apply for KCET 2026?
KEA will be releasing eligibility criteria along with KCET notification. However, candidates appearing for Karnataka CET can check engineering stream eligibility requirements based on last year’s update
- Candidates applying for KCET BE/BTech courses must have passed Karnataka 2nd PUC/Class 12 or any other equivalent exam with English as one of the languages. They must have also score a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate in Physics and Mathematics along with Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Electronics/Computer.
- Those applying for BArch must have qualified in Karnataka 2nd PUC or Class 12 or any equivalent exam with English as one of the languages. They must have obtained 50 percent in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and 50% marks in aggregate in Karnataka 2nd PUC/Class 12 or equivalent exam in all subjects.
- Also, candidates belonging to reserved category will be given 5 percent relaxation.

- On homepage, go to admission tab
- Click on UGCET 2026
- Now, click on apply online link
- Complete KCET registration
- Login and fill KCET application form, upload documents and pay fees
- Submit form and also save confirmation page
