The KCET 2026 deadline is tentatively expected to be in the third week of February 2026. As of now only that start date is out which is January 17, 2026. Candidates will be able to fill the online application form from January 17 onwards, till the last date.

To register for KCET 2026, students must refer to the its official website - cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea. All applications must be submitted via the official KEA UGCET Portal. It is advised to all the appicants to only visit the official portal as during registration process a lot of links get activated whose authenticity can't be trusted. It may also happen that the official link might lag or not open, so students must not panic and try after some time. Lagging is a normal issue with government websites speaiclly while registration process is activated as a lot of users flock the server.

To apply for KCET 2026, students must visit the KEA website, click on the "UGCET 2026" tab and register to get a User ID. Login using the new credentials and fill the application form in detail. While registering, they must add their personal details alonf with academic details, and pay the fee online. Students will also have to upload the scanned documents of their photograph and signature as per the prescribed format during the application process.

The exam body, KEA will issue the KCET hall ticket to all the candidates who successfully submit the application form. The admit card will consist of all the details, uploaded by candidates during the application process, hence students must fill the details carefully.

According to the past year data, candidates interested to apply for KCET must have at least 45% aggregate in core subjects in 2nd PUC/Class 12; reserved categories require 40%. There is no upper age limit to apply for the exam.

Prior to filling the KCET application form, students must arrange their SSLC (10th) marksheet, Aadhar card, and caste/income certificates ready for registration. It is advised to candidates to arrange these documents as per the prescribed format and keep it below 20KB.

As per the KCET syllabus, the question paper will be based on subjects, such as Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology based on the Class 11 and 12 (PUC) NCERT curriculum.

The Karnataka CET exam is conducted to shortlist candidates for admission into Engineering (B.E/B.Tech), Pharmacy (B.Pharma/D.Pharma), Agriculture, Veterinary Science, courses.

The exam body KEA, wll start the Karnataka CET 2026 registrations from January 17, 2026 onwards. Candidates who abide by the minimum eligibility criteria will be able to apply till the last date.
