Karnataka CET 2026 LIVE Updates: The exam body, Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) will start the KCET 2026 registration tomorrow, Saturday, January 17, 2026. Aspiring candidates for undergraduate (UG) courses in Engineering, Pharmacy, Agriculture, and Veterinary Science will be able to apply from cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea as and when the KCET 2026 exam date registration link is active. Along with the registration link, KEA will also release a detailed KCET 2026 notification PDF, which will consist of the eligibility, latest syllabus, pattern, marking scheme, how to apply, and the final schedule.
The KCET 2026 exam dates were already released, according to which, the entrance exam will be held on April 23 and 24, with the Kannada Language Test for Gadinadu and Horanadu candidates to be held on April 22. To fill the UGCET 2026 application form, students must pass or appear in the 2nd PUC/Class 12 exam with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, maintaining a minimum aggregate of 45% (40% for reserved categories).

The KCET 2026 deadline is tentatively expected to be in the third week of February 2026. As of now only that start date is out which is January 17, 2026. Candidates will be able to fill the online application form from January 17 onwards, till the last date.

Steps to Apply for KCET 2026
To apply for KCET 2026, students must visit the KEA website, click on the "UGCET 2026" tab and register to get a User ID. Login using the new credentials and fill the application form in detail. While registering, they must add their personal details alonf with academic details, and pay the fee online. Students will also have to upload the scanned documents of their photograph and signature as per the prescribed format during the application process.
The exam body, KEA will issue the KCET hall ticket to all the candidates who successfully submit the application form. The admit card will consist of all the details, uploaded by candidates during the application process, hence students must fill the details carefully.
