The exam body of KCET, Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA), is expected to release the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) application form 2026 soon. As per the past year dates, we can expect the KCET application form 2026 to be released in the first week of January 2026 at the official KEA website, cetonline.karnataka.gov.in. Candidates will be able to apply for the entrance exam and appear in the test, which is expected to be held in May 2026 (First week).

What is the KCET exam?

The KCET exam is a crucial state-level engineering entrance exam which is conducted to shortlist candidates' admissions into various undergraduate (UG) BTech courses in participating colleges in Karnataka to courses like Engineering, Architecture, Pharmacy, and Agriculture in Karnataka's government and private institutions.

Who can apply for the KCET exam?

Candidates who have qualified passed 10+2 with a combination of Physics, Chemistry, and Maths/Biology subjects can apply. The detailed eligibility criteria will be mentioned in KCET official notification.

The KCET application process is online and candidates must fill in their personal and academic details, upload documents, and pay the prescribed fees in online mode. Candidates can keep track of the KCET official website as well as shiksha.com for the latest updates.
