The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has officially published the KCET 2025 seat matrix (draft) for engineering (B.Tech) courses under the KCET 2025 counselling on its official website - cetonline.karnataka.gov.in. Candidates can check the details below. 

KEA KCET Seat Matrix 2025 OUT: KEA has released the KCET 2025 seat matrix for engineering admissions. This matrix, detailing the available seats across government, aided, and private institutions, can guide candidates during the counselling and choice-filling process. The seat allocation process for engineering courses in professional educational institutions in the state for the academic year 2025-26 will be carried out based on the approved intake for professional engineering courses by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi.

The steps to check the KCET seat matrix 2025 are as follows-

• Visit the official website- cetonline.karnataka.gov.in
• Click on the UGCET notification and select the KCET engineering draft seat matrix PDF
• Download and check the KCET seat intake of the colleges.

KCET 2025 Counselling Dates

The KCET counselling 2025 is expected to start soon (third or fourth week of June). Qualified candidates planning to appear for the KCET admission counselling 2025 must go through the KCET engineering matrix and plan their college selection and course preferences based on this. 

Documents Checklist for KCET Counselling 2025

Candidates are advised to keep the following documents ready for counselling -

• Printout of the KCET application form 2025
• KCET admit card 2025
• Fee payment proof receipt of application form
• Class 10th/SSLC marksheet and certificate
• Class 12th/PUC marksheet and certificate
• 7 years study certificate countersigned by the concerned BEO/DDPI
• Two-copies of recent passport size photograph
• Income certificate
• Rural study certificate
• Caste certificate
• Kannada medium certificate
• Parent’s study certificate/Parent’s Hometown certificate/Parent’s Domicile certificate/Parent’s Employment certificate/Parent’s Cumulative Record/Parent’s Marks Card, etc., for the candidates claiming eligibility for Government seats based on the domicile/study/employment of the parent.  
• Identity card issued by the Jurisdictional Deputy Commissioner/District Magistrate/Rehabilitation Commissioner, for the candidates claiming eligibility for Government seats under Jammu & Kashmiri Migrants quota.
