KCET Counselling 2025 Dates
The KCET 2025 first round web-option entry link is NOW OPEN. The KCET seat matrix list was announced, followed by the KCET special eligibility list for counselling.
To participate in the KCET 2025 option entry, candidates have to pay a processing fee of INR 750 (NON-REFUNDABLE). The fee receipt carries the following details -

- Allotted college
- Allotted course
- Course fees

Keep your documents ready for verification
Documents required for KCET counselling: Before participating in seat allotment, document verification is mandatory. students must report to their designated KEA verification centres with both originals and photocopies of the following:
- KCET 2025 Admit Card
- Class 10 and Class 12 Marksheets
- Study Certificate from the school
- Caste and Income Certificate (if applicable)
- KCET 2025 Rank Card
- Kannada Medium and Rural Study Certificate (if applicable)
- Aadhar Card (Identity Proof)
- Special category certificates (like NCC, Sports, Defence, etc.)
To download hall ticket and rank card, provide your login ID and password details. Currently, the authorities have activated application form print link to download application form. The printed registration form will be required during counselling process.

Mock Allotment Result Announcement
KEA publishes a mock seat allotment list, which is just a trial run to help students understand how choices impact allotments.
- They can modify, rearrange, delete, or add new options based on this list.
- The final saved options will be considered for the first round of allotment.
KCET 2025 First Round Seat Allotment Result
Once the actual seat allotment result is declared, students will have four choices to select:
- Satisfied with the seat (CHOICE 1) - Accept the seat, pay the fee, download the admission order, and report to the allotted college. (No further participation in counselling is required.) Submit and exit the process.
- Satisfied but want to try Round 2 (CHOICE 2) - Hold the seat, pay the fee, but do not join the college. You can participate in the next round.
- Not satisfied and want to try Round 2 without holding a seat (CHOICE 3) - You’ll wait for the second round without claiming your current allotment.
- Exit counselling (CHOICE 4)- If completely dissatisfied, you can choose to exit from KCET counselling.
KCET Counselling Round 2 and Extended Rounds
Round 2: Revised Option Entry. Only students who selected Choice 2 or 3 in Round 1 are eligible.
- Choice 2 students: Can rearrange their previous options, but cannot add new ones.
- Choice 3 students: Can alter, delete, or add new options.
- Final options saved will be used for Round 2 allotment.
Note: If you're in Choice 2, you must pay the fee again, not join the college and participate in the next round results.
Final Stage: Extended Round or Casual Vacancy Round
The last round of counselling:
- All eligible students can modify or delete their options.
- Once allotment is done, students must join allotted college.
- If you paid fee in Round 2 but didn’t join, no refunds will be given after this final round.

No, KCET is not mandatory for candidates to apply for New Horizon College of Engineering Bangalore BE admissions.
The institute can select candidates based on merit in Class 12 board exams or the KCET scores if the candidate wishes to apply through them.
