Karnataka CET Counselling 2025 Dates: The Karnataka Examination Authority announced the KCET 2025 result on May 24. Candidates can access their results at the KEA portal using their application number and password. Qualified applicants are eligible to participate in the counselling. Candidates who are eagerly waiting for the counselling can check the expected dates below -
KEA KCET Counselling 2025 Expected Dates
Based on the past year's counselling schedule and result announcements, the KEA KCET counselling 2025 is expected to start in the second/third week of June 2025. This is mainly because KEA has activated the KCET marks entry link 2025 for candidates who did not receive their KCET 2025 rank during the result declaration, based on which spot rank will be issued to such candidates to make a fair admission process.
As the KCET 2025 spot rank result announcement is still pending, candidates can expect the KCET counselling 2025 notification by the second week of June 2025, and the counselling process to begin in the third week of June 2025. Meanwhile, candidates are advised to research the colleges wisely and closely look at the KCET cutoff trends of their desired branches.

About KCET 2025 Counselling
The KEA KCET counselling 2025 comprises stages, such as registration, choice filling and locking, document verification, seat allotment, and fee payment. Candidates are advised to keep the following documents ready for the verification process -
- Printout of the KCET application form 2025
- KCET admit card 2025
- Fee payment proof receipt of application form
- Class 10th/SSLC marksheet and certificate
- Class 12th/PUC marksheet and certificate
- 7 years study certificate countersigned by the concerned BEO/DDPI
- Two-copies of recent passport size photograph
- Income certificate
- Rural study certificate
- Caste certificate
- Kannada medium certificate
- Parent’s study certificate/Parent’s Hometown certificate/Parent’s Domicile certificate/Parent’s Employment certificate/Parent’s Cumulative Record/Parent’s Marks Card, etc., for the candidates claiming eligibility for Government seats based on the domicile/study/employment of the parent.
- Identity card issued by the Jurisdictional Deputy Commissioner/District Magistrate/Rehabilitation Commissioner, for the candidates claiming eligibility for Government seats under Jammu & Kashmiri Migrants quota.

KCET UGCET counseling is generally conducted in three grounds. KEA will first release the KCET mock seat allotment result after the conclusion of the choice-filling process. The first two grounds of KCET 2024 counseling will be conducted for birth general merit and Hyderabad Karnataka region candidates. However round 3 or round 2 extended will be conducted as per the availability of seats. Candidates have to complete the KCET counseling registration as per the schedule. Only successfully registered candidates will be allowed to participate in the KCET 2025 extended round counseling.
There are around 250 colleges that offer admissions to engineering and architecture courses. There are both morning and evening shifts colleges. Applicants have to fill in the college and course choices at the time of KCET option entry facility. The admissions to architecture colleges will be done on the basis of NATA score 2025 while engineering admissions will be done on KCET 2025 score only.
