KEA to Close KCET 2026 Registrations Today; No More Extensions

No More Extensions to be given by exam body

Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) will close the KCET 2026 registration window today. Candidates who haven’t applied for KCET 2026 yet, must know that there will be no more extensions given by the exam body. Those who have already applied for KCET can make corrections into their KCET application form till March 30. Currently, close to 3.15 lakh students have registered for the entrance exam. KCET 2026 Schedule

The KCET 2026 Application Fees for General category candidates is INR 500, for SC/ST/Category candidates of Karnataka state it is INR 250, while for candidates outside Karnataka state, the fee is INR 750.

KEA has clarified that Feb 27 is the final opportunity for KCET students to apply, and no further extensions will be given. Candidates are advised to complete their submissions on the official KEA portal well before the closing time to avoid last-minute technical issues.
