MAHE Secures Top Ranks in THE Impact Rankings 2026: Achieves No. 1 Rank in SDG 5
THE Impact Rankings 2026 have been released by Times Higher Education. The rankings evaluated 1,646 universities from 116 countries and territories across 17 individual SDG tables and one overall ranking. Among the participating institutions, MAHE has maintained its top position in different Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Times Higher Education has published theΒ THE Impact Rankings 2026 as a global ranking platform measuring how institutions fare under multiple United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Among the 1,646 universities from 116 countries and territories, Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) has achieved significant improvements by strengthening its global standing with top ranks in different SDGs, and retaining its position in the 101-200 global band in the list.
MAHE Stays True To Its Commitment In Advancing Sustainable Development Goals
MAHE has secured top rank in SDG-5 (Gender Equality) list, making an extraordinary leap from Rank 11 in the previous edition. Along with No.1 Rank in SDG-5, MAHE has also maintained its position among the top institutes in other SDGs.

MET merit list is prepared for admissions. Based on performance in exam, candidates will be listed out in the merit list. For allotment, MET merit list is used by authorities.
The authorities will prepare the MET merit list to select students for admissions into the courses offered by the participating institutes. The performance of the students will be assessed to prepare the MET merit list. Separate merit lists will be prepared for different categories.
As per MET exam pattern, total score is 240. However, for every wrong answer in MCQs, one mark will be deducted. There is no negative marking for NATs.
