MHT CET 2026 2nd Attempt PCM Final Answer Key Out; Bonus Marks for 14 Questions Across All Shifts
MHT CET 2026 PCM final answer key for second attempt has been published. The State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell, Maharashtra, has published the MHT CET 2026 final answer key for 2nd attempt PCM group on June 9. Candidates can check the final key by logging into the candidates portal at cetcell.mahacet.org using their email ID and password. The authorities conducted the MHT CET 2026 2nd attempt exam from May 12 to 20, in 11 shifts. The final key for all shifts is now released. Following a thorough review by subject matter experts, the CET Cell has identified a total of 14 valid unique objections out of 88 submitted by the students. The authorities will now update the final database based on these recommendations before compiling and declaring the MHT CET 2026 results.

Valid Objections for MHT CET 2026 PCM 2nd Attempt: Subject-Wise
According to the official notification, Physics received the highest number of unique objections, followed by Mathematics and Chemistry. The expert panel has given bonus marks to all candidates in the particular shifts and have updated the answer key for a few other questions. The breakdown of the unique objected questions and the final valid objections is as follows:
- Physics: 42 unique questions were objected to, out of which 12 objections were found valid.
- Mathematics: 26 unique questions were objected to, out of which 2 objections were found valid.
- Chemistry: 20 unique questions were objected to, out of which none were found valid.
For the questions where errors were acknowledged, the CET Cell has declared that full marks will be awarded to all candidates who appeared in those specific exam shifts. Specifically, 1 mark each will be awarded for the 12 valid Physics errors andย 2 marks each will be given for the 2 valid Mathematics errors.

MHT CET counselling 2025 is over. The schedule of MHT CET counselling registration was announced on the official website and the same can be checked on Shiksha. The MHT CET counselling registration started on June 28 and the last date to register for the counselling was July 11. The last date for documents verification was July 12, 2025.
With 97.5 percentile in MHT-CET, you have a strong chance to get admission in reputed colleges like PICT Pune, VIT Pune, SPIT Mumbai, or Thakur College of Engineering for branches such as IT, ECE, or Electrical. COEP and VJTI may be difficult for CSE. Government colleges like WCE Sangli, SGGS Nanded, and GCOE Amravati are also good options. You can get preferred branches in private colleges and core branches in government ones. Your chances further improve if you belong to a reserved category or have home university advantage within Maharashtra.
Candidates who have not applied or still have not appeared in MHT CET can participate in the counselling based on their JEE Main score. Those who do not have MHT CET or JEE Main score can also participate in counselling based on class 12 marks.
MHT CET 2nd Attempt PCM Answer Key Updated
The panel has also updated the MHT CET answer key for 2nd attempt PCM group. A total of four unique questions across different exam shifts have been updated with the corrected options.
The CET Cell has updated the answer key for 9 questions in Physics, 4 questions in Chemistry and 1 Maths question Students who selected the correct options will get marks during the final evaluation.
The CET Cell has announced that the objection tracker processing fees paid for any objection found to be valid will be fully refunded to the respective candidate's account. The revised changes are currently being integrated into the system, and the final results will be processed soon.
