MHT CET 2026 April 11 shift 1 paper has conluded. The overall paper diffculty level was moderate with questions from Physics were straightforward numericals. Maths was the toughest among all three. Chemistry was easy and direct questions were asked from textbooks.
The first shift of MHT CET April 11 exam 2026 concluded at 12 pm. As students started coming out of exam centres, aspirants shared real-time insights on social media and on-ground interactions outside centers. As per students feedback, "questions in Physics were a straightforward numericals on mechanics and optics, mostly from Class 12," said Rohan Patil, a repeater from Thane.
Chemistry questions were moderate, mostly from organic reactions and physical chemistry, though some found assertion-reasoning types tricky.
Mathematics, however, emerged as the differentiator. "Overall moderate, but had lengthy calculus and vector algebra problems that took much of students time," noted Priya Sharma from Nagpur, who attempted around 85% of the paper. Many students reported 50-60% moderate-to-difficult questions in Math, contrasting with easier Physics (40% easy) and Chemistry (balanced across topics). Time management was key, with students advising 45-50 minutes per section.

Education experts at Shiksha.com predicts a scoring potential of 140-160 out of 200 for top performers. "The paper aligns with last year's trends, concept-heavy with fewer surprises. Class 12 syllabus dominated (80%), but Class 11 integration in Math upped the ante," analyzed JEE experts at Shiksha. It is recommended to focus on PYQs for upcoming shifts, as formula-based tricks were absent.
