MHT CET 2026 April 15 Shift 1: Students Report Maths Question with Same Options
The MHT CET 2026 session 1 exam is ongoing. Those who appeared in the MHT CET 2026 April 15 shift 1 exam claim that a maths question in their shift had the same value for all four options. Check the details and what it means for candidates.
The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra, is conducting the MHT CET PCM exam from April 11 to 20. The authority is conducting the MHT CET 2026 session 2 exam in two shifts, from 9 AM to 12 PM and from 2 PM to 5 PM. The exam is being conducted in online mode as a computer-based test. Students who appeared for the MHT CET 2026 exam on April 15 in shift 1 have raised a concern about a question in the Mathematics section. According to the candidates, one of the questions had the same answer option repeated, which created confusion during the exam.
Because of this, they were unsure about the correct answer. This further wasted their time and caused them stress in the time-bound test. A few students marked one option, though many students left the question unattempted. Students are now concerned about whether they will get bonus marks for the test.
If such an error is confirmed, then the authorities will keep this in mind while preparing the final answer key. If the CET Cell decides, all candidates who attempted the question will be given full marks for the question, or the authorities may drop the question from evaluation.
Students are now waiting for the provisional answer key, where they will be able to check the question and raise objections if needed. The objection window will allow candidates to report any mistakes by paying a small fee per question.
