MHT CET 2026 City Allotted Far Away? Here’s What You Can Do
The MHT CET 2026 city slip has been released for the PCM group. Candidates can check the MHT CET city intimation slip to know their allotted exam date, time and city. If you have been allotted a faraway exam city, here's what you can do.
On April 4, the CET Cell released the MHT CET 2026 city intimation slip for the PCM students. The city slip provides the exam city information ahead of the exam. After all the details are finalised, the authority will release the final admit card with the complete exam centre address. Some students have reported that the MHT CET 2026 city intimation slip shows that their exam city is far from their home location. This has caused concern among students, as they now need to travel long distances.

The allotment of exam city is based on the preferences selected by the candidates while filling the application form. However, with a large number of applicants, the authorities were unable to allot everyone their first preference. Now, students are looking up how to change their city. But the CET cell does not provide any option to change the allotted exam city. Although it is not guaranteed, students can contact the CET helpdesk to get their exam cities changed.

Students must not panic and plan their travel to avoid last-minute stress. Candidates should start making travel and stay arrangements as soon as possible. Students should also keep all important documents ready, including a printed copy of the admit card, a valid photo ID, and passport-size photographs, before appearing at the exam centres. Candidates must visit their centres a day or two in advance to become familiar with the routes.
With the exam city slips out, the authority has also announced the MHT CET hall ticket date. The MHT CET 2026 hall ticket for PCM will be released on April 7. Candidates have to follow the same process to download the final hall ticket as they did to download the provisional admit card.
