MHT CET 2026 PCM First Attempt Objection Redressal Out: 16 Valid Objections Across All Shifts

The State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell, Maharashtra, has released the objection redressal notice for the MHT CET 2026 PCM Group First Attempt. Candidates who appeared for the engineering exams conducted between April 11 to 20, 2026, across 16 shifts can now view the final answer key to know their raised grievances.

Following a thorough review by subject matter experts, the CET Cell has identified a total of 16 valid unique objections out of 76 submitted by the students. The authorities have confirmed that the final database will be updated based on these recommendations before compiling and declaring the MHT CET 2026 results.

Subject-Wise Valid Objections for MHT CET 2026 PCM 1st Attempt
According to the official notification, Physics received the highest number of unique objections, followed by Chemistry and Mathematics. However, only a fraction of these challenges have been accepted by the expert panel. The breakdown of the unique objected questions and the final valid objections is as follows:
- Physics: 33 unique questions were objected to, out of which 12 objections were found valid.
- Chemistry: 29 unique questions were objected to, out of which 2 objections were found valid.
- Mathematics: 14 unique questions were objected to, out of which 2 objections were found valid.
For the questions where errors were acknowledged, the CET Cell has declared that full marks will be awarded to all candidates who appeared in those specific exam shifts. Specifically, 1 mark each will be awarded for the 12 valid Physics errors and 2 Chemistry errors, while 2 marks each will be given for the 2 valid Mathematics errors.
Updated MHT CET 1st Attempt PCM Answer Key
The panel has also updated the MHT CET answer key for 1st attempt PCM group. A total of four unique questions across different exam shifts have been updated with the corrected options.
The CET Cell has updated the answer key for two questions in Physics (April 11 Morning shift and April 15 Morning shift) and two questions in Chemistry (from the April 15 Morning shift and April 16 Evening shift). Students who selected the correct options will get marks during the final evaluation.
The CET Cell has announced that the objection tracker processing fees paid for any objection found to be valid will be fully refunded to the respective candidate's account. The revised changes are currently being integrated into the system, and the final results will be processed soon.

No. There is no minimum mark required to pass the MHT CET exam. The only requirement to get the scorecard is to appear in all subjects of MHT CET and obtain a non-zero score.
For verifying marks, candidates are required to write an application to the Divisional authority. It must reach to the authority within four days of result declaration. Along with the application, a bank draft of Rs 1,000 in the name “Director of Education & Research Mumbai” must also be submitted.
While it is necessary that students pay special attention to chapters with high weightage, it is highly advised that they cover the full MHT CET syllabus. The question paper of MHT CET is prepared by considering the entire CET syllabus which consists of topics from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from class 11 and 12.
