The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell has taken a major step to help MHT CET exam applicants by appointing 40 district liaison officers across the state. Maharashtra CET Cell Appoints 40 District Liaison Officers to Support Applicants

The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell has taken a major step to help MHT CET exam applicants by appointing 40 district liaison officers across the state. Students who will soon apply for the MHT CET  2026 exam will be able to resolve their exam related queries and issues by connecting with these district liaison officers.

The officers will be responsible for answering questions about the application process, issues related to fee payments and other admission-related doubts. They will also help students with information about scholarships, counselling options and alternative programmes. 
Apart from this measure, the CET Cell Maharashtra will be running the central student helpline to support exam aspirants in smaller towns and rural regions to proper guidance.

Q:   What documents are needed to apply for MHT CET?

Candidates must have the following documents ready for MHT CET registrations:

  1. Updated Aadhaar (UIDAI) Card
  2. APAAR ID
  3. Disability Certificate and/or Unique Disability ID (UDID Card) (for PwD Candidates)
  4. Scribe Details (for PwD Candidates in case of Eligible Disabilities)
Q:   Can I fill MHT CET application form using my mobile?

It is not advised to fill MHT CET application form 2026 using mobiles. If candidates do not have a laptop/computer, they can visit the computer centres in market for filling the MHT CET 2026 application form. As filling the application form involves uploading scanned images of photo, signature and other required documents, it could be difficult to resize and upload these documents if filling the form through mobile.

Q:   When will MHT CET 2026 application form release?

The MHT CET application form was released on January 10, 2026.

The MHT CET registration 2026 date was January 1, 2026, as per a local news media report. However, the process has still not started. It is expected that the MHT CET registration link is under testing and hence the delay. Once released, eligible candidates will be able to apply on the official website, cetcell.mahacet.org.
