MHT CET 2026 Registrations Cross 2.38 Lakh, PCM Records Highest Count

The authority is conducting the MHT CET 2026 registration until February 12, 2026. The last date to pay the fee is February 13, 2026. Students have to submit the MHT CET application form online at cetcell.mahacet.org. As per the official statistics, a total of 2,38,780 candidates have successfully paid the application fee.

The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra, has released the MHT CET 2026 registration statistics as of January 27. The statistics provide the number of candidates who have completed the registration process for the first and both attempts of the upcoming MHT CET exam.

MHT CET 2026 Registrations Underway; Over 2.62 Applications Submitted Till Now

The authority is conducting the MHT CET 2026 registration until February 12, 2026. The last date to pay the fee is February 13, 2026. Students have to submit the MHT CET application form online at cetcell.mahacet.org. As per the official statistics, a total of 2,38,780 candidates have successfully paid the application fee and confirmed their registration for MHT CET 2026. At the same time, 34,536 applications are in progress.

Course-wise MHT CET 2026 Registration Details

The MHT CET 2026 PCM has recorded the highest number of confirmed registrations. A total of 1,57,780 PCM candidates have completed the fee payment process, followed by 81,000 candidates in PCB.

Attempt-wise Statistics: Both Attempts Preferred by Majority

The authorities have provided the attempt-wise registration stats separately. Of the total registered candidates:

  • 1,59,681 candidates have opted for both attempts
  • 1,03,064 candidates have chosen only the first attempt

In the PCM group alone, 1,12,258 candidates selected both attempts, significantly more than those opting only for the first attempt. A similar trend is visible in the PCB stream, where 36,801 candidates chose both attempts compared to 44,199 candidates opting for the first attempt only.
