MHT CET Registration: Maharashtra State CET cell is accepting application form of MHT CET 2026 online. Candidates can complete MHT CET registration by visiting official website cetcell.mahacet.org. The last date to complete MHT CET 2026 registration is February 12. Those willing to get admission into undergraduate professional courses including engineering, pharmacy, and agriculture can apply for Maharashtra CET.
This year, the CET Cell has introduced few changes as well. Now, candidates require both APAAR ID and Aadhar to complete MHT CET 2026 registration. Apart from that, Maharashtra CET exam will be now be conducted in two sessions. As per announced date, MHT CET Session 1 will be conducted from April 11 to 26, 2026. Whereas, Maharashtra CET session 2 will be held from May 10 to 17, 2026.

Incorrect Aadhaar or APAAR ID Details
Candidate’s Aadhaar details - name, date of birth, gender and address must be correct. Any inconsistency between what they have enter on CET cell portal and what’s on their Aadhaar can lead to verification delay or rejection. Similarly, make sure APAAR ID used for academic data retrieval is valid and linked correctly.
Uploading Wrong or Poor-Quality Photograph
Candidates must follow guidelines when uploading images. Check important points below
- Size of photograph must be 50 mm x 50 mm and 100 KB to 5 MB
- Image should be clear, front-facing, eyes open and plain background
- No shadows, head centred and caps/hats are allowed, unless for religious reasons
Uploading blurry, incorrectly cropped, or mismatched photo can result in rejection, and that same photo will appear on MHT CET admit card.
Typographical Errors in Personal Details
Names, dates of birth, and parent details should exactly match official certificates. These errors are most common and hard to correct later. They must note that some fields are non-editable even during MHT CET correction window. So double-check them before submitting.
Mismatch in Academic Information
Details like percentage, board name, and year of passing in Class 12 or Diploma section must match from candidate’s marksheets. Incorrect entries may lead to form cancellation at scrutiny.
