MHT CET 2026 Tentative Exam Dates Released; PCM & PCB Session-wise Dates Here
The State CET Cell, Maharashtra, has released the tentative schedule for the MHT CET 2026 exam. The MHT CET exam will be held in two sessions- April and May.
The State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell has released the tentative MHT CET 2026 exam schedule. The MHT CET 2026 exam for the PCM group will be held between April 11 and 19, 2026, while the PCB group exam will be held between April 21 to 26, 2026. The authority has also announced the tentative schedule for the second session of the MHT CET exam 2026. The second session of the MHT CET PCB group exam will be held on May 10 and 11, 2026, while the PCM exam is scheduled from May 14 to 17, 2026.
A major reform in the MHT CET 2026 exam is in its frequency of conduct. The authority will now conduct the MHT CET exam twice a year, offering engineering and MBA aspirants two attempts, similar to national-level engineering exams. This change is aimed at reducing pressure and giving candidates a fair chance to improve their scores.

About MHT CET Exam
The Maharashtra CET Cell conducts the MHT CET for admission to BTech and BPharma courses. The exam is conducted online as a computer-based test. The syllabus of MHT CET includes class 11 and 12 topics from Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics for BTech papers, and for BPharma papers, it includes Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. BTech admission in Maharashtra is also based on JEE Main scores.
Students can check details about MHT CET important chapter and topics from this page. While it is necessary that students pay special attention to chapters with high weightage, it is highly advised that they cover the full MHT CET syllabus. The question paper of MHT CET is prepared by considering the entire CET syllabus which consists of topics from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from class 11 and 12. Important study material for MHT CET like books or short notes can be checked online. Students who are taking coaching can get the study materials from the coaching institutes.
MHT CET Merit List 2025 has been released online on the website cetcell.mahacet.org. Candidates will need to login to the website using their application number and date of birth/password to download the merit list. Details about All India Rank and candidate's marks will be mentioned in the merit list.
