MHT CET 2026 Two Admit Cards: Hall Ticket vs City Slip Explained

Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell has announced that it will release two admit cards for MHT CET 2026. The provisional admit card will act as the MHT CET city intimation slip, which will inform candidates of where their exam city will be located. The final MHT CET hall ticket 2026 with the complete details will be released later. Since this is the first time the CET Cell will issue the city intimation slips, many students are naturally confused. To help clear out the confusion, we have explained the difference between the two admit cards.

What is MHT CET 2026 City Intimation Slip?

The MHT CET city slip will be released first. It will mention the city where the exam centre will be located in. This is important since the Maharashtra state has multiple districts and talukas, so it is important that students are informed about the same in advance to plan their travel for the exam. Candidates cannot use it to get entry inside the exam hall. Rather, this document is only for early information and planning.

What is MHT CET 2026 Hall Ticket?

The authority will release the MHT CET hall ticket 3-4 days before the exam. It will have complete details such as the exact exam centre address, exam date and shift timing, candidate details and exam day guidelines. The final admit card is a mandatory document to enter the exam hall. Moreover, students have to carry a hard copy of the same, as no soft copies will be accepted for entry. Candidates also have to carry their ID proof along with the admit card.
