VJTI Spot Admission 2026 Round 2

Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute (VJTI), Mumbai, will conduct the Institute Level Spot/ACAP Round 2 for first-year BTech admissions on September 13, 2026. The institute has released the vacant seat matrix and instructions for the second spot round on its official website. As per the vacancy position released by VJTI, 15 BTech seats are vacant across different engineering programmes.

VJTI has also specified that seats made available due to cancellation by VJTI admitted candidates who secure a seat at another institute will not be filled during spot round 2 on September 13. According to the institute, such seats may instead be filled during VJTI spot round 3 scheduled for September 14, 2026.

VJTI Spot Round 2 2026: Branch-wise Vacant Seats

The current vacancy position shows seats available in five BTech programmes. Textile Technology has the highest number of vacancies with five seats, followed by Production Engineering with four seats.

VJTI Spot Round 2 Reporting Time

Candidates have to report to the Krantijyoti Savitribai Phule Auditorium at VJTI on September 13 according to their merit number. The reporting schedule is:

• Merit numbers 1 to 1,000: 10 AM to 11:30 AM

• Merit numbers 1,001 to 5,000: 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM

• Merit numbers 5,001 onwards: 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM

VJTI Spot Round 2 Admission 2026: Important Documents

Candidates appearing for the spot admission process are required to carry the necessary documents and admission-related details. The institute’s checklist includes the current admission letter and its original, candidate login username and password, and registered mobile number for OTP verification. Candidates who cannot attend personally must carry an original signed authority letter, while the authorised person is required to carry a government-issued identity card.

For admission fee payment, candidates have to carry a Demand Draft in favour of 'Director VJTI', payable at Mumbai, as per the applicable fee. The institute has also mentioned a ₹1,000 cancellation fee, payable online where applicable. Fresh candidates are required to carry the acknowledgement from the FC Scrutiny Centre along with the original certificates, wherever applicable.
