MSU to conduct final year UG,PG exams for students from July 20
MSU Baroda has decided to conduct the end-term examination only for final year undergraduate and postgraduate students, while adhering to all health guidelines and social distancing norms.
The Maharaja Sayajirao University (MSU) Baroda has announced that it will conduct the semester-end examinations only for the final year students of undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
The MSU is planning to hold the examination from July 20. The varsity will be conducting the exams in three shifts with proper sanitization process between each shift.
The exams will be held based on the syllabus taught during offline classes until March 14.
βNo syllabus which was taught through online classes will be considered,β the institute said in a statement.
The time-table for the same will be released by the university by June 5, 2020.
For the students of technology and pharmacy, no examinations will be conducted, along with the students of first and second-year of all the other courses. These students will be graded on the basis of the marks they secured in the consecutive internal examinations and the previous semester-end examinations.
The University has also clarified that all those students who have left the city for their native places due to coronavirus lockdown and are unable to return will appear for the exams in October as a regular student and not a repeater.
Students with backlogs and ATKT (allowed to keep terms) exams will also be accommodated in the July schedule of examinations.
The varsity has come up with the decision after a syndicate meeting between various stakeholders. It has also considered the University Grants Commission (UGC) guidelines, issued earlier, of merit-based progression.
The total number of coronavirus cases in the country today crossed the 1.45 lakh mark. The country has recorded more than 6000 new cases in last 24 hours.
