SRMJEEE 2026 Phase 1 Exam Begins Tomorrow

The SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRMIST) will start the phase 1 SRMJEEE 2026 exam tomorrow. The exam will be held as remote-proctored test between April 24 to 29. There will be two shifts on each exam day. Candidates can take the test from their home or any computer centre.

The candidates who are appearing in the exam can take free mock tests available at SRMJEEE portal to make themselves familiar with the remote-proctored test.

Candidates will also receive an email at 8 pm today (April 23) with complete details on how to take the exam. Candidates must read all the instructions carefully before they take the test.

As the candidates will be appearing in the test remotely, they will be invigilated by a remote proctor who will be watching the test taker through camera of laptop/desktop.

Important Pre-requisites for Appearing in SRMJEEE 2026

Candidates who will be appearing in the exam must ensure that the system in which they take the exam must have the following configuration and set- up.

  • Computer having Windows 8 or higher with 15” color Monitor, Intel i3 (4TH Gen) equivalent CPU, 4 GB RAM or above, 2 GB free hard disk space
  • Mac 10.14 Mojave or higher, 80 GB HDD or higher
  • Keyboard, Mouse, Webcam and microphone
  • Candidates are requested to remove any screen sharing software from their desktops or laptops

SRMJEEE 2026 Exam Day Guidelines

Candidates must keep note of the following points before they appear in the exam.

  • A stable internet connection of at least 1MBPS is preferred and should be available throughout the Exam.
  • If mobile hotspot is used for Internet connection, the candidates shall ensure that they have sufficient data balance before the commencement of the Exam.
  • Once the exam begins, no re-exam will be given if the exam is interrupted citing bad /no internet.
  • Candidate have to login to the exam using details in the admit card (Password).
  • The exam will be of 150 minutes. The candidate must login at least 60 minutes before the exam to take photograph of self and ID proof and to read instructions.
  • Candidate will not be allowed to end the exam even if they completes the exam.
  • Candidate can not quit the exam for the first 120 minutes from the scheduled start of the exam

SRMJEEE Admit Card 2026

The admit card of SRMJEE is the password through which candidates login to take the test. The admit card is issued to candidates once they book the slot. SRMJEEE slot booking was open from April 18 to 20. The admit card with password are sent to candidates through email.
