TNEA 2025 Counselling Choice Filling Starts for Government Special Reservation Categories

TNEA 2025 counselling for government school candidates (special reservation) has started. Check details below.
DoTE has started the TNEA counselling process for the special reservation candidates (Sports, Ex-Servicemen, and Differently Abled categories) from the government school. Candidates of these categories have to complete the choice filling process on or before 7 PM today, July 7. The TNEA counselling for government special reservation categories will end on July 8, tomorrow.
The TNEA 2025 counselling for the general special reservation categories will be held from July 9 to 11.
The main counselling rounds for the general category candidates will start on July 14. Round 1 will be held for candidates with TNEA ranks between 1 to 39145 (scores 200 to 179). The TNEA general counselling 2025 round 1 choice filling will be held from July 14 to 16, and the tentative allotment will be out on July 17. Candidates will have to complete the tentative allotment confirmation from July 17 to 18. On July 19, the allotment letters will be released. The candidates with allotment letters will have to join and report at the TFCs from July 19 to 23. The candidates who opted for the upgradation of seats will be issued their allotment letters on July 26.
TNEA 2025 Counselling Choice Filling Process
The TNEA choice filling process allows the candidates to fill in the choice of their preferred college and course as per their TNEA rank and category.
- To participate in TNEA choice filing, candidates must visit the official website of TNEA, log in with their registered email ID and password.
- Under the login, candidates must provide the choices of colleges and courses in order of preference, as the seats will be allotted based on the preference order. The most preferred choice must be selected at the top of the list, and so on. The choices must be filled and submitted as per the TNEA choice filling deadline. Candidate’s allotment will be based on the preferential order of choices based on their rank and the eligible seat matrix.

Candidates can edit the TNEA 2026 application form until the last date of registration. The candidate has to fill up the details in the application form and they can give their preference of TFC for online Certificates Verification. The entered details can be viewed using the login information. The applicant can edit his/her information if necessary. Verify the entries made and if all the details are found correct then submit the online application on or before the last date. Applicants will be provided with a PDF document on successful registration of application through TNEA Application Processing System.
