TNEA Counselling 2025 Round 2 Choice Filling Ends TODAY; Tentative Allotment Out Tomorrow

The last date to complete the TNEA choice filling by the candidates eligible for round 2 is July 28, TODAY. The candidates with TNEA ranks between 39,146 to 1,37,710 must complete their choice filling process by the deadline, or else they will not be considered for the seat allotment process. The TNEA counselling 2025 round 2 tentative allotment will be out on July 29, tomorrow. The candidates who will be allotted a seat will have to confirm the allotment by July 30.
Further, the candidates who will select the option as " ACCEPT & JOIN" will get their provisional allotment on July 31.
TNEA 2025 Round 2 Choice Filling: Step-by-Step Process
The steps to complete the TNEA choice filling are given below:
- Start by visiting the website tneaonline.org, and login using the registered email and password.
- Once logged in, look for the "Choice Entry" section and click on it. Here, candidates can see a list of colleges and course available based on their qualifications. Â
- To make their search easier, candidates can filter the list of colleges. When candidates find a college and program they like, they should click on it and select "Add to Preference," which will add it to their list. They can continue adding more options to have a broader selection. Â
- Candidates can change the order of their choices by dragging them up or down, ensuring that their top-choice college and subject are at the top of their list. Â
- Candidates need to click "Save" frequently to avoid losing their selections. When candidates are satisfied with their choices, they should click "Lock Choices." After locking them in, candidates won't be able to make any changes. Â
- After locking their preferences, candidates should download the list and print it out for their records, which will help them keep track of their selections.

All the candidates who are satisfied with the currently allotted seat and have opted for “Accept and Upward” will be given tentative allotment order. They must report to the nearest TFCwithin the date given in the allotment order and pay the tuition fees and submit their original certificates for holding the current seat. Non reporting and nonpayment of fees, will be considered as not willing to join and the allotment order will be cancelled. Such candidates will lose allotted seat and will not be considered for further rounds in counselling. In case no better choice is available in upward movement, then the candidate is confirmed with the previously allotted choice as they have paid the necessary fee in the TFC.

10+2 passed/appearing candidates can apply for TNEA counselling. Admission will be based on marks obtained by the candidates in the relevant subjects, namely, Maths Physics and Chemistry which will be reduced to 200 (Maths 100, Physics 50 and Chemistry 50).
