VIT University is currently conducting VITEEE 2026 counselling. However, students who have been allotted seats in counselling round are in a dilemma- (those who have submitted their papers for rechecking).Β Around 1.6 lakh candidates have submitted application for CBSE revaluation through On-Screen Marking System (OSM). With VIT counselling 2026 ending soon, this has put students in worry about losing their seats.Β

VIT 2026 phase V choice filling is scheduled to take place from June 17 to 18, and seat allotment results will be declared on June 20.Β

On the other hand, the CBSE 12th revaluation result is expected to be released anytime between June and July.Β

For students who are waiting for their CBSE revaluation result must pay their advance fee and lock seat (as backup). If your final marks feel short, then you can later claim for VITEEE fee refund, as per UGC guidelines.Β
Will aggregate marks in VITEEE 2026 affect admission and placements?
As per the VITEEE eligibility, the minimum aggregate for PCM must be 60% with 50% mandatory in mathematics/biology subject. Thus, candidates must ensure that they meet required eligibility. However, in the case of placements, 12th PCM aggregate marks donβt really matter. Majority of the companies will evaluate BTech CGPA and technical skills. Hence, a strong CGPA is a must (at least 8.0 above).Β
