Computer science engineering is a dream course for many. CSE for top NITs like NIT Trichy, NIT Surathkal, NIT Rourkela, and NIT Warangal will generally require you to score 180+ out of 300. However, for other NITs, such as NIT Arunachal Pradesh, NIT Manipur, NIT Meghalaya, NIT Mizoram, NIT Nagaland, and NIT Sikkim, admission to BTech CSE is usually offered to candidates with JEE Main marks below 100.

JEE Main 2026 session 1 exams will be held between January 21 to 30. The registration for session 1 is over, and NTA is expected to release the JEE Main 2026 city intimation slip in the first week of January. JEE Main 2026 session 2 exams will be held between April 2 to 9.
