IITG (Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati) will release GATE 2026 admit card on January 2. GATE 2026 exam paper-wise dates have been released. Candidates who have submitted their application form can access GATE exam admit card on the scheduled date. Read below to know more.Β 

GATE exam admit card 2026

GATE 2026 admit card release date: GATE exam is scheduled for February 7, 8, 14, and 15, 2026. Candidates who have registered for IITG GATE 2026 exam must download their admit card at gate2026.itg.ac.in. For preparation and GATE 2026 revision, students must practice mock test and GATE exam PYQs thoroughly.Β 

GATE Admit Card 2026 date

GATE exam 2026 admit card will be released on January 2, 2026. The GATE 2026 admit card link will be available at GOAPS portal. To download GATE exam hall ticket, students have to enter their enrollment ID and password.Β 

The admit card of GATE 2026 exam will be available online only. Students must check that all details are printed correctly.Β 

Details mentioned on GATE 2026 Admit Card

The GATE 2026 admit card of CS, ME, EE, EC, DA, CE, etc. will have the following details printed -

  • Name of the candidate
  • Photo of the candidate
  • Signature of the candidate
  • Enrollment ID
  • Roll number
  • Test paper code
  • Exam centre and centre code
  • Exam date and timing
  • Exam day guidelines and instructions

Accepted ID proof to GATE Exam Centres

Here is the list of the accepted photo IDs that must be carried to the GATE exam centre -

  • Aadhar card
  • Passport
  • PAN Card
  • Valid college ID
  • Employee Identification Card
  • Voter ID
  • Driving License

International candidates must carry any of the following ID proofs -

  • Employee ID
  • Passport
  • Government-issued ID

Candidates are advised to follow GATE exam day guidelines properly and report to the centre one hour before GATE exam time.Β 

GATE exam 2026 will be conducted in two shifts -

  • ForenoonΒ  - 9:30 am to 12:30 pm
  • Afternoon - 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm
