The admissions against the second list at Ambedkar University Delhi (AUD) will close today. On December 7, 2022 the AUD released the AUD 2nd Merit List 2022. Candidates must note that today is the last date to complete the physical verification of the documents and pay the admission fee.
As per reports, several of the courses witnessed a marginal dip in the cutoffs, with the courses like BA (H) history closing admissions after the AUD First Merit List 2022 for the unreserved category. Along with this, the admissions for BA (H) Mathematics was also closed for the national capital territory (NCT) candidates under the unreserved category. However, for the outside-NCT category, its 557.06, approximately a three-mark difference from 560.94 under the first list.
Meanwhile in the second merit list, with 746 BA (H) political science witnessed a one-mark difference for the NCT category. For the ONCT category, there is a dip of nearly 7 marks with the cutoff being set at 771.49 in the second list. BA (H)English for the NCT category also witnessed a marginal dip with the cutoff in the second list reducing to 684.22 from 685.03.
For the ONCT category, the dip is much; i.e. from 740.14 in the first list to 722.51 in the second list.
For outstation aspirants, BA (H) Psychology and BA (H) Economics saw approximately an 8-mark and five-mark difference, respectively. As per the officials, " AUD will align its admission process with that of DU and release the list after the latter had issued its second allocation list to ensure assured admissions.
Like Delhi University, AUD has also moved away from the cut-off system for undergraduate admissions this year and has adopted CUET scores as the basis of admissions. On October 18, AUD released its first merit list for undergraduate courses.
