The UGC has also asked higher education institutions to share details of participation on the University Activity Monitoring Portal of UGC.

The University Grants Commission has universities to broadcast Prime Minister Narendra Modi's address among students on the occasion of National Technology Day today.

Prime Minister will give his speech on the occasion of National Technology Day at 11:00 A.M. on May 11, 2023.

UGC Secretary Manish Joshi in a letter to the Vice Chancellors of all the universities and principals of all the colleges has requested them to share the webcast link and arrange for viewing of the event by students in large numbers.

The letter reads: “As you may be aware, May 11 is being celebrated as National Technology Day since 1999. To mark India's progress at a fast pace in the field of Science, Technology, Innovation and Entrepreneurship, the theme for this year's National Technology Day is -School to Startups- Igniting Young Minds.”
The UGC has also asked higher education institutions to share details of participation on the University Activity Monitoring Portal of UGC.

All Universities and Colleges are requested to share the webcast link and arrange for a viewing of the event by students in large numbers. Details of participation may please be shared on the University Activity Monitoring Portal of UGC (https://uamp.ugc.ac.in/).
