CUH Faculty selected for SIRE fellowship
The fellowship is awarded for six months from Department of Science and Technology, Government of India.
Dr. Puja Yadav, Assistant Professor, Department Microbiology, Central University of Haryana (CUH), has received prestigious SIRE (SERB International Research Experience) fellowship.
The fellowship is awarded for six months from Department of Science and Technology, Government of India.
Prof. Tankeshawar Kumar, Vice-Chancellor congratulated Dr. Puja for her achievement. Prof. Surender Singh, HoD, Department of Microbiology also congratulated Dr. Puja and wished her a fruitful research in Germany.
He said that Dr. Puja will work at Institute for Medical Microbiology and Hygiene, Medical Microbiology and Hygiene, (Germany) with Professor Barbara Spellerberg, who is renowned scientist in field of Microbiology.
This Program aims to impart high-end research training in frontier areas of Science and Technology, which are of interest to India by providing opportunity to visit leading institutions/universities across the globe for a period of two to six months.
Dr. Puja yadav has earned her PhD in Microbiology from Jamia Milia Islamia and did her postdoc from Harvard medical school Boston and Texas Medical School, Houston.
