Deakin University GIFT City’s Business Analytics Students Secure Placements with NAB India Innovation Centre

Seven out of eight selected students secured paid internships leading to full-time positions in business performance, fin-crime analytics, and customer decisioning.

Deakin University’s GIFT City Campus completed its first internship and placement cycle with 30% of its Master of Business Analytics students securing roles at the National Australia Bank’s (NAB) India Innovation Centre in Gurugram, Haryana. This marks the first instance of Indian students at an international university branch campus in India earning a foreign degree and transitioning into global roles.

Seven out of eight selected students secured paid internships leading to full-time positions in business performance, fin-crime analytics, and customer decisioning. The hiring process included online coding assessments, technical interviews, and management rounds to evaluate technical skills and alignment with NAB’s culture.
