DU Admissions 2021: Delhi University commenced the registration process for DU Admissions 2021 from August 2, 2021, onwards. The registration for various undergraduate courses began at around 8 PM on the official website of DU, i.e. du.ac.in. Earlier, the link was expected to be active by 6 PM. DU online portal has been launched to make the admission process hassle-free. The DU admission portal facilitates the students seeking admission to the university to fill the admission forms, pay fees and check details without any problem from the comfort of their homes. Candidates interested in DU Admissions 2021 must note that the last date to apply for various undergraduate (UG) courses at Delhi University is until August 31, 2021.
Admissions to undergraduate merit-based programmes will be based on DU Cut-offs following past years’ practice. However, there are some courses to which DU admissions will be entrance-based. The entrance test will be conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) between September 26 and October 1. Considering that more than 70,000 students scored above 95 percent in CBSE Class 12 Boards 2021, DU Cut-offs are expected to be higher than last year. Candidates who have passed Class 12 board exams are eligible to apply for the Delhi University admissions for undergraduate courses.
How to apply for DU Admissions 2021?
Candidates can apply for DU courses online following the steps listed below
- Go to the official website of Delhi University, i.e. du.ac.in
- On the homepage, navigate and click on admission link
- Enter the registration details and click on submit
- Login to the account
- Select the course of your choice
- Make the payment of the application fees
- Click on submit and download the confirmation page
- Keep a hard copy of the same for further need
Documents required for DU Admissions 2021
Delhi University will conduct the merit-based admission process for 70,000 seats in various undergraduate courses. While applying for DU admissions 2021 candidates must keep the following documents ready:
- Class 10 provisional or original certificate/marksheet
- Class 12 provisional or original certificate/marksheet
- Passport size photo
- Character certificate
- Migration certificate
- Scanned image of signature
- Category certificate
- Income certificate
- Sports certificate
- Educational concession certificate and Kashmiri migrant certificate, if any.
Considering that many state boards are yet to release Class 12 results, the University has decided to provide the students the option of updating their marks at a later stage by opening a special window for the same.
