Delhi University admission 2026 to UG programmes is subject to the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) exam conducted by the NTA. Additionally, last year onwards, DU has started conducting the PG courses admission through CUET PG for Delhi University PG admission. Previously, admission to some of the UG and all PG courses were subject to the entrance exams conducted by DU, namely Delhi University Entrance Test (DUET), or Delhi University LLB Entrance Exam, followed by a Personal Interview (PI). Candidates can get into B.Ed programme of DU based on performance in the CUET-PG exam. To be eligible, aspirants must have the prescribed qualifications by the university. The seat allotment is done as per the preferences filled by the candidates. The admission process begins with CUET registrations. Hence, aspirants who fulfil the eligibility requirements shall first go to the NTA website and submit form before the deadline.
After the exam, a cutoff list is released. Candidates with a score equal to or better than the cutoff are selected. These candidates can then pay the admission fee amount to lock their seats.
No, Delhi University offers admission to the BSc programmes at its colleges based on CUET score only. There is no provision for direct admissions. Hence, aspirants must take the Common University Entrance Test (CUET). The national-level exam is conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA). It is conducted in different phases. Eligible students can apply on NTA website to take the test. Students seeking admission to DU colleges should select DU college plus preferred course at the time of registration.
After CUET result declaration, aspirants are required to register on DU CSAS portal. The course and college allotment process is done based on the preferences submitted by the students during the form filling. After final selections, students can pay the admission fee to confirm admission.
For seat allocation at DU, students are required to lock their college and course preferences after the result is out. Delhi University will consider normalised scores provided by NTA to calculate the merit scores as per programme specific eligibility. The highest possible preference will be provisionally allocated to the candidates considering the following
criteria:

- Category of the students (UR/ OBC-NCL/ SC/ ST/ EWS/ Minority)
- Availability of seats
