Galgotias University Students Shine at EDVentures 2026, Three Student Startups Receive Funding from INR 10 Crore Fund
Galgotias University has announced funding support for three student-led startups, including Project TACTO, CarbonSync and Agri Rover, from its INR 10 crore Galgotias Innovation Fund for students who represented India at EDVentures 2026 in Hong Kong, where Project TACTO emerged as the winning project.
Galgotias University has complimented students who represented India at EDVentures 2026 in Hong Kong. Project TACTO emerged as overall winning project among teams from 10 countries. The university also announced funding support for three student-led projects from its INR 10 crore Galgotias Innovation Fund. The selected startups are Project TACTO, founded by Gaurang Pant; CarbonSync, founded by Pushkar Singh; and Agri Rover, founded by Satyam Kumar.
EDVentures 2026: Project TACTO Emerges as Winner
Hosted by the Education University of Hong Kong, EDVentures 2026 included 19 student teams from 10 countries to develop solutions supporting United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Project TACTO won the AWS Championship Prize for developing tactile learning systems. This project aimed at improving accessibility and coding education for visually impaired learners. The project was also declared the overall winner in the competition.
Another Indian startup, Tekurious Pvt. Ltd., was recognised among the finalists in the competition. The funding support will help these student in startups test, refining their project and get the solutions.

Competing against teams from across the world and earning international recognition is a significant accomplishment.
