IGNOU Extends Online Re-Registration Deadline for January 2026 Session till January 31

IGNOU has extended the online re-registration deadline for the January 2026 session till January 31 for all ODL and online programmes. Check official portal details.

Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has extended last date for submission of online re-registration form for January 2026 academic session. Students can now complete re-registration process till January 31, 2026.

As per an official tweet, extension applies to all courses offered in Open and Distance Learning (ODL) and online mode. Students who are continuing their programmes are required to complete re-registration within revised timeline to avoid academic disruption.

IGNOU official notification states that re-registration should be done through IGNOU Samarth portal at ignou.samarth.edu.in. During its process, learners need to select courses for upcoming semester or year and submit their programme fee online.

IGNOU has advised students to ensure that all their details are correctly filled and payments are successfully completed before deadline.
