Jamia Millia Islamia Fees to Increase Up to 41% for Session 2025-26; Check Revised Fee Structure

JMI Fees 2025 for several courses including BSc, LLB, LLM, BTech, MA, BA, BCom Hons and other programmes have notified a significant increase between 16 to 41% for the academic session 2025-26, which may impose financial pressure on students who are already facing issues with programme fees.
Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) is expected to hike fees for the academic session 2025-26. Students who are willing to appear for JMI admission 2025-26 will have to pay 16-41% increased fees subject to their respective programme. The Jamia Millia Islamia fees 2025 will be increased across departments. Provided below is the subject-wise increased fees for Jamia Millia Islamia admission.
JMI Fees Hike 2025: Maximum Increase in Foreign Language
The most significant increase, 41.41 percent, is observed in the Department of Persian Language, where annual fees have increased from INR 6,700 to INR 9,475. Further, The Department of Arabic raises fees from INR 7,200 to INR 9,875, which is a 37.15% rise. A comparable 37.15 percent rise is seen in foreign language programs, such as the Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Turkish.
Science programs, such as BSc (multidisciplinary), geography, mathematics, and physics, will now cost INR 10,475 per year instead of Rs 7,800, which is a 34.29 percent increase. ABP Live highlighted that the JMI BTech fee 2025 has gone up by 19.04 percent, from INR 16,150 to INR 19,225. In the exact same way, the MTech fees at Jamia Millia Islamia have gone up by 16.48 percent. It is now INR 21,375 instead of the previous year's amount of INR 18,350.
This year, JMI is offering admission in 25 courses, including nine UG, five PG, eight diploma and three advanced diploma courses based on CUET scores. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online at admission.jmi.ac.in.
