IGNOU Admission 2025: Registration, Re-registration Last Date Extended till March 31; Know How to Apply
The Last date of IGNOU admission 2025 January session has been further extended till March 31, 2025. However, INR 200 shall be paid as a late fee by candidates willing to enrol for IGNOU re-registration 2025.
IGNOU 2025 registration last date January session has been once again extended for the academic session 2025-26. Students willing to fill the IGNOU 2025 application form can now fill the application form till March 31, 2025. The IGNOU registration link for the January 2025 session is activated at ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in for all eligible and interested candidates.
IGNOU Admission 2025: Registration Closed for Semester Programmes
The IGNOU 2024 registration process for the semester and certificate programme has been closed for session 2025-26. Students willing to get admission in master's, bachelor's and diploma programmes can fill the application form for their desired programme. How to Fill IGNOU Form 2025 Online?
The following steps shall be followed in order to submit their registration forms:
- Visit the official website - ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in
- Search for 'IGNOU registration' link and click on it
- Complete the basic registration using personal details
- Select a username and create a strong password
- Login using allotted credentials and then complete IGNOU 2025 application form with academic details
- Make a payment of the IGNOU 2025 registration fee and submit the application form.
Meanwhile, the authorities have also extended the IGNOU re-registration last date 2025 till March 31, 2025, for the January 2025 session. However, interested and eligible students have to pay INR 200 as a late fee. The IGNOU re-registration link is activated for all programmes except for semester-based programme, offered in ODL and online mode.

IGNOU admission is conducted in two cycles, i.e. January and July. While the registrations for the January session generally get over in March, Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) admission for the July session opens in June and remains open till Jul-Aug. The admissions are mainly based on the aggregate obtained by candidates in the last qualifying degree.
