Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) is starting B.A. (Hons.) in Social Work (BSW) course from the academic session 2023-24.

The office of the Controller of Examinations, JMI is inviting application for admission to the course to be run by the Department of Social Work, JMI.

The interested and eligible candidates may apply through online mode on Controller of Examinations, JMI website www.jmicoe.in till 24th June, 2023. The online portal will be open for editing of admission forms from 26th June to 27th June, 2023. The Entrance Test will be held on 15th July, 2023.

The eligibility criteria, number of seats, entrance test platform, syllabus, fee structure are as follows:

4 Eligibility: - Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination with minimum 55% marks from any recognized board. The medium of

instruction and examination in English

5 Total Fee payable per year: 7200*

*Students of B.A. (Hons) Social Work Semester V are required to pay Rs.6000/- as Rural Camp fee prior to the organization of the Rural Camp Activity (The amount may vary as per actual at the prevalent rate).

6 Selection Process:

Entrance Test of 1.5 hours (100 MCQ of 1 mark each) covering the following areas:

Social Awareness-40%

English Language-20%

Logic & reasoning-20%

General Knowledge & Current Affairs-20%
