Mumbai University Revises Winter 2025 Exam Dates Again Due to Zilla Parishad Elections

Mumbai University has revised Winter 2025 exam dates again due to Zilla Parishad elections. Check the updated schedule, new dates and official details.

Mumbai University has once again changed schedule of its Winter 2025 examinations, citing ongoing election process in Maharashtra.

According to an official circular issued by university’s Examination Section, exams which was earlier postponed due to Municipal Corporation elections, have now been further rescheduled following directions related to the Zilla Parishad elections.

As per the official circular, revised dates apply to examinations across all faculties and affiliated colleges of the university.

Mumbai University Winter 2025 Revised Exam Schedule

As per latest notification, revised dates are:

• Papers earlier scheduled on January 14, 2026 will now be held on February 17, 2026.
• Papers scheduled on January 15, 2026 have been moved to February 18, 2026.
• Papers scheduled on January 16, 2026 will now take place on February 20, 2026.
• Exams that were to be held on February 7, 2026 have been shifted to February 21, 2026.

These papers had already been rescheduled earlier this month before being revised again.

Exam Timings to Remain the Same

MU in its official notice has clarified that there will be no change in examination timings, which will continue as per original timetable.

College principals, heads of university departments and directors of university centres have been asked to ensure that revised schedule is communicated to students and staff without delay.
