PUBDET 2025 results have not been declared yet. West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEE) has yet to announce the PUBDET 2025 result on its official website. As per the previous official notification, the PUBDET result was expected to be announced on August 9, 2025; however, the result has been delayed. 

The new PUBDET 2025 result release date has not been confirmed, though it is expected soon. Candidates are advised to check the official WBJEEB website and our Shiksha PUBDET result page for real-time updates and the direct download link once the results are out.

PUBDET 2025 Result Date

PUBDET result 2025 date is yet to be announced. According to the official notification released on August 3, 2025, WBJEE was expected to release PUBDET rank card on August 9. However, no official notice regarding the release date or postponement has been released. The Candidates can check the official website regularly to get the latest updates on PUBDET result date. 

PUBDET 2025 Result: Why the Delay?

No official notification regarding the PUBDET 2025 result has been released by WBJEEB. According to media reports, the Calcutta High Court has verbally directed to prepare the merit list within 15 days, incorporating a 7% reservation for OBC categories. However, WBJEEB has not issued any official notification regarding the postponement of the PUBDET 2025 result.

Although the new PUBDET 2025 result date has not been confirmed, it is expected to be announced soon.

What Happens After the PUBDET Result?

  • Rank Card Download:  Candidates must download and keep a printed copy.
  • Counselling Rounds: PUBDET is expected to conduct three counselling rounds, including a mop-up round.
  • Document Verification: Candidates will need to present original and photocopies of their documents during counselling.

Q:   In which form PUBDET result is released?
A:

PUBDET result will be published in the form of rank card, which will have all relevant ranks, total score, and component scores in respective papers. Candidates will be able to view and download their rank card by logging in with their password. The Board never publishes a rank list to ensure confidentiality to each individual candidate. Ranks cards with scores will be issued to all candidates, who appears in PUBDET-2024. But all may not be awarded a rank and hence may not be eligible for counseling, for which a cut off rank and/or a cut off score will be decided by the Board.

Q:   Can I get direct admission in Presidency University Kolkata?
A:

Students who are looking for admissions at the UG and PG level course, the student have to appear the entrance exams. For UG course, Presidency University, Kolkata has PUBDET and for PG courses, it has PUMDET. Since, the university is adhered to the entrance exam scores, there are no any other medium to get admission apart from this. 

Q:   What is the PUBDET evaluation and declaration of result process?
A:

Model Answer Keys will be available for a brief period at Board’s website shortly after the examination. Candidates will be required to log in and view the model answer keys.
Candidates are also allowed to challenge any answer key on payment of INR 500 per question plus the bank’s service charges, if any.
The Board then reviews the challenges and publish Final and Frozen Answer Keys. The Board’s decision in this regard will be final and no further communication will be entertained.
Images of OMRs and machine read responses was available for a brief period in Board’s web site after the examination. Any candidate can view the images of his/her OMRs and machine read responsesby logging in with his/her password. Candidates should download and preserve copies of their OMRs. However, the duration of preservation of record (s)/ document (s)/ information will be notified and made available on the Board’s website.
