PUBDET Counselling 2025: West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) has released PUBDET counselling schedule on the official website. Round 1 registration for PUBDET counselling will start from September 2, 2025. Eligible candidates can apply for the counselling from September 2. The last date of registration for PUBDET counselling 2025 is September 4.
As per the notification, a total of 733 seats are offered for admission to B.A/B.Sc courses in the academic year 2025-2026. Check the PUBDET seat matrix 2025 below.

PUBDET Counselling 2025: Important Details for Registration
Candidates should remember the following details before starting their registration:
- Candidates can register and fill in their college/course choices from September 2 to September 4, 2025.
- The last date for choice locking is September 4, 2025.
- The result of the first round of seat allotment will be published on September 6, 2025.
- Candidates allotted seats in the first round must accept their seat and complete document verification between September 6 and September 8, 2025.
- The second round seat allotment result will be released on September 10, 2025.
- Candidates must accept their seat and complete document verification between September 10 and September 12, 2025.

Ranks cards with scores are issued to all candidates, who will appear in PUBDET. But all may not be awarded a rank and hence may not be eligible for counseling, for which a cut off rank and/or a cut off score will be decided by the Board. Result will be published in the form of Rank Card, which contains all relevant ranks, total score, and component scores in respective papers. Candidates can view and download their rank card by logging in with their password. The Board never publishes a rank list to ensure confidentiality to each individual candidate.
