IIT Gandhinagar PhD Admissions 2022: Last date to apply is Oct 9

Candidates interested in PhD admissions 2022 at IIT Gandhinagar must note that the last date to apply is October 9, 2022.

Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Gandhinagar has invited applications for PhD Admission for Semester II 2022-23. Regular(RR) and Continuing Doctoral Programme (CDP) are available. Students joining the PhD program as regulars (RR) will be considered for Institute Fellowship based on the Ministry of Education norms. Candidates interested in PhD admissions 2022 at IIT Gandhinagar must note that the last date to apply is October 9, 2022. Meanwhile, the list of the shortlisted candidates will be announced by the institute between October 17 and October 20 (Tentative). Shortlisted candidates will have to appear for a written examination/Interviews and tentative dates for the same is November 4 to November 15.

Candidates must note that no applications will be accepted with the application fees. IIT Gandhinagar PhD admissions 2022 application fees is INR 150/- (SC/ST/PD Category), and INR 300/- (Others)

IIT Gandhinagar PhD Admissions 2022: Eligibility Criteria

Candidates applying for PhD at IIT Gandhinagar must have scored at least 55% marks or 5.5 CPI marks in MA/MSc/BTech/MTech or equivalent degree in appropriate branches. For discipline-wise minimum eligibility criteria, the candidates should refer to the PhD Admission Page of IIT Gandhinagar.

Selection Procedure

Admission is generally offered on the basis of an interview, which is supplemented by a written test if necessary. The Institute will invite a limited number of candidates for a written test and/or interview based on their academic records, statement of purpose, etc. The final selection will be mainly based on academic credentials, written test and/or interview.
