IKGPTU MCA 2025 Counselling 2nd Round Ends Aug 1

I.K. Gujral Punjab Technical University (IKGPTU) is conducting Centralized Online Counselling for MCA and other professional programs for 2025–26. With the Round 2 choice filling deadline ending today by 5 PM, candidates must be prepared for the next stages of the process, including result declaration and reporting.

PTU MCA Counselling Process

1. Registration & Choice Filling (Closes Today)

• Candidates must register and pay a non-refundable counselling fee of ₹2,000 at https://counselling.ptu.ac.in.
• After registration, candidates can fill in their preferred college and course choices.
• The process ends on 01 August 2025 at 5 PM.

2. Declaration of Results (05 August 2025)

• The Round 2 seat allotment result will be published by 5 PM on 05 August 2025.
• Candidates can check their allotted seats by logging into the counselling portal.

3. Reporting at Allotted Institute (06–08 August 2025)

• Selected candidates must report physically to the allotted institute between 06 and 08 August, by 5 PM, along with all required documents.
• Failure to report with valid documents will lead to cancellation of the allotted seat.

Documents Required at the Time of Reporting

All candidates must bring originals and photocopies of the following documents:

• Allotment Letter (downloaded from the portal)
• Registration and Counselling Fee Payment Receipt
• Class 10 and 12 Mark Sheets and Certificates
• Graduation Marksheets (for MCA candidates)
• Domicile Certificate (for Punjab residents)
• Reserved Category Certificate (if applicable)
• Income Certificate (for TFW or scholarship claims)
• Aadhaar Card
• Passport-size Photographs
• Any other document used during the online application

Note: Admission will be cancelled if the candidate fails to produce the required documents during reporting. No claim will be entertained after that.
