PTU MCA Counselling Process

1. Registration & Choice Filling (Closes Today)

  • Candidates must register and pay a non-refundable counselling fee of INR 2,000 at https://counselling.ptu.ac.in.
  • After registration, candidates can fill in their preferred college and course choices.
  • The process ends on 01 August 2025 at 5 PM.

2. Declaration of Results

  • The Round 2 seat allotment result will be published by 5 PM on August 5, 2025.
  • Candidates can check their allotted seats by logging into the counselling portal.

3. Reporting at Allotted Institute 

  • Selected candidates must report physically to the allotted institute between August 6 - 8, 2025, by 5 PM, with all required documents.
  • Failure to report with valid documents will result in seat cancellation.

Documents Required During Reporting

Candidates must bring both the original and a photocopy of the following.

  • Allotment Letter (download from the official portal)
  • Fee Payment Receipt
  • Mark Sheets and Certificates of Class 10th & 12th
  • Graduation Marksheets (MCA candidates)
  • Domicile Certificate (Punjab residents)
  • Category Certificate (if applicable)
  • Income Certificate (TFW or scholarship claims)
  • Aadhaar Card
  • Passport size Photos
  • Any other document used during the application

Note: Admission will be cancelled if the candidate fails to produce the required documents at the time of reporting. No claim will be entertained after that.
