Kolhapur University suspends exams for 2 days amid heavy rainfall
Kolhapur University has suspended the exams scheduled for Wednesday and Thursday amid heavy rains and flooding in the state from last two years. Following heavy downpour, the water level of the Panchganga river in Kolhapur has crossed the warning mark, district authorities said.
Due to the rainfall, some roads in the Kolhapur district were also closed due to water-logging on some stretches, officials from the Public Works Department said. At 10 am on Wednesday, the water level of the Panchganga river at Rajaram weir reached 40.2 feet, as against the warning level of 39 feet and the danger mark of 43 feet, officials from the district disaster management cell said.

Earlier, twenty two tourists were stranded near a waterfall in Nashik following heavy rains were rescued, while one person was feared to have been swept away, police said.
Meanwhile, First Year Junior College, FYJC 11th admission 2022 second merit list is all set to be released on August 12. Students who have applied for FYJC Maharashtra 11th Admission 2022 may check the FYJC 2nd round seat allotment result on the official website, i.e. 11thadmission.org.in. All students are required to enter Login ID and password to access the result on the official website.
