AIBE Department will be closed until the nationwide lockdown in India. Read here the detailed notification as released on March 30. 

The Department of All India Bar Examination (AIBE( to remain closed until April 14 as per the latest notification published on the official website. The department will be closed until the countrywide lockdown, a precautionary measure against the Coronavirus outbreak in India, as announced by the Prime Minister of India, Mr Narendra Modi on March 24. The department has stated in the notification that AIBE helpline mobile number is open for urgent queries, however, the landline numbers will not be available for the time being. 

Read the official notification regarding the same: 

“This is to inform all the candidates that the department for All India Bar Examination will be closed till 14th April 2020 due to the nationwide lockdown as a preventive measure for COVID-19. The helpline numbers 011-49225022/23 will be closed. In case of any emergency, the candidates are requested to call on 9804580458 for any queries.”

AIBE department was closed on March 19 after the countrywide lockdown was declared until March 31. However, then too AIBE has made the mobile number helpline available for candidates who had queries regarding 'AIBE XIV missing set code' case. The department has given another chance to candidates who were disqualified from AIBE 2019 after their question paper set code was missing from their answer sheets. A total of 1170 candidates again got the chance to view their answer sheet and report their set code. However, ever since the window for missing set code was opened on March 18, candidates have been facing technical glitches in submitting their responses. Although AIBE department has not released any notification regarding the same, however, it is expected that proper verification of 'missing set code' cases will be completed only after the situation in India is back to normal. Until then, candidates can only contact the AIBE helpline number for emergency queries. 

BCI has also not released any notification regarding 'Certificate of Practice' availability to the qualified candidates even after AIBE 2019 revised results were published on February 21.
