NLUD to organise Copyright Law Blog Writing Competition

DPIIT IPR Chair and CIIPC at National Law University Delhi are organizing a Copyright Law Blog Writing Competition for all Law students.

On the occasion of the enactment of the Copyright Act 1957, the DPIIT IPR Chair and CIIPC at National Law University Delhi are organizing a Copyright Law Blog Writing Competition for all Law students. The deadline to submit the entries is July 6, 2023, by 11: 59 pm IST.

Themes for blog entries will focus on Indian Law in the following areas- Controlled Digital Lending, Artificial Intelligence and Copyright, Royalties and underlying works in cinematic films, dynamic injunctions and copyright infringement, criminal remedies and copyright infringement.

G-20 Presidency: NLUD Round Table Discussion

In light of India’s G-20 Presidency, the National Law University Delhi is organising a series of Round Table and Panel Discussions which are scheduled to take place across the year. 

The themes of the Discussion Series are influenced and inspired by the theme of India’s G-20 presidency, that is, “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam” or “One Earth · One Family · One Future”, and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. The key objectives of the Discussion Series will be - to discuss, and deliberate upon India’s preparedness to address the challenges highlighted under the G-20, to identify areas for cooperation between India, Quad partners and other emerging economies, to bring together representatives from the Government, Civil Society, Researchers and Legal Experts working on the intersection of the themes given under G-20, to discuss perspectives and stance on the themes of the G-20, to identify potential next steps in supporting the government’s efforts in the areas of promoting cybersecurity resilience, promoting technological transformation, advancing green development, encouraging women-led development, strengthening IP framework and addressing other relevant issues at multilateral forums.
