CAT 2024 registration process will end tomorrow. Candidates must submit their CAT application form 2024 and pay the fee before the deadline. The CAT 2024 application window will close at 5:00 pm tomorrow, and so will the fee payment window.
Earlier the CAT 2024 registration last date was September 13, 2024 but it was extended by a week. There will be no further extension of CAT form submission. The CAT form correction window is expected to open from September 21 to September 24, 2024. Exact dates will be announced by IIM Calcutta soon.
CAT 2024 exam will be held on November 24, 2024 and the admit card will be released on November 5, 2024. Previously, the CAT admit card used to be released about a month before the exam date, but since 2023, the hall tickets are issued in the same month as exam.
CAT 2024 Registration and Application Process
CAT 2024 registration cum application process is online. The CAT form is available at iimcat.ac.in website. Given below is the process:
- Visit CAT 2024 official website: iimcat.ac.in
- Click on 'new candidate registration'
- Enter name and other details
- An OTP will be shared for authentication
- Verify registration with OTP received
- Enter personal and academic details in the form
- Upload a passport size photo and scanned signature
- Select preferred IIMs, courses and test cities
- Pay CAT application fee via debit/credit card or netbanking
Candidates must note that the CAT fee is to be paid at the time of form submission. If the fee is not paid successfully, the CAT 2024 application form will be declined. The fee amount to be paid is INR 2500 (Unreserved category) and INR 1250 (Reserved category). Those who have already registered for CAT 2024 exam, and have to fill the application form or make fee payment, can simply log in with their credentials and complete the process.

No, the CAT application form can only be filled out online on the official website iimcat.ac.in. There is no option to submit the CAT form in offline mode. Candidates will have to create an account on the CAT website once the registrations begin and fill out the CAT form through that candidate account. Candidates must also note that no other website hosts the CAT form other than iimcat.ac.in
There is no provision of paying CAT fees in cash, challan or Demand Draft either. The CAT registration fee can be paid online only through Internet banking, credit/debit cards or mobile wallets only. The payment window will be available in the candidate dashboard as part of the CAT application form. Candidates have to simply follow the instructions to pay the fee. Candidates must note that fee payment is mandatory for CAT form filling. Until the fee is paid successfully, the form will not be accepted. Thus, candidates must check the fee payment acknowledgement slip after making the payment.

CAT application process for the current year has already been concluded. The exam has also been conducted. The results and answer key are expected to be released at the iimcat.ac.in website. The CAT 2026 registration dates are not announced yet.
