IIM Ahmedabad Cluster 2 Summer Placement
The Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad conducted the second cluster of its summer placement process for the PGP Class of 2028 on October 27, 2026. The process was carried out in a hybrid format, with recruiters participating through both online and in-person modes. More than 75 roles were offered during the IIM Ahmedabad summer placement 2026. Students got roles across nine industry cohorts during this placement drive.

The second cluster of IIM Ahmedabad summer placements 2026-27 covered nine industry cohorts: advertising and media, conglomerates, consumer goods, consumer services, fashion, financial platform and services, pharmaceuticals and healthcare, real estate, and retail B2B and retail e-commerce.

To get 99 percentile and above, candidates must attempt 40-45 out of 68 questions in CAT, with maximum accuracy.
In the cohort, participating recruiters included Aditya Birla Group, Mahindra Group, Godrej Group, Tata Administrative Services, Vedanta Group, Essar Group, GMR Group, RPSG Group, CKA Birla, Saint-Gobain, and Abhinandan Ventures. The consumer goods cohort drew major firms such as Hindustan Unilever Ltd, ITC, Nestlé, Procter & Gamble, Dabur, AB InBev, Berger Paints, Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages, The Coca-Cola Company, United Breweries, Wipro Consumer Care, Purplle, and Dot & Key. In addition, Kwality Wall's, Mars, Mondelez, Reckitt, and Yum! participated as new or returning recruiters.
Other cohorts also saw participation across sectors during the IIM Ahmedabad Cluster 2 Summer Placements. Bloomberg, FinIQ, and Indxx emerged as key recruiters in financial platform and services. The advertising and media cohort included Endemol Shine and JioStar, while pharmaceuticals and healthcare featured Dr. Reddy's Laboratories, Emcure Pharmaceuticals, FDC Limited, Glenmark Pharmaceuticals, and Medtronic India. In retail B2B and retail e-commerce, Amazon and Myntra were the leading recruiters, and Airtel took part in consumer services.
Fashion and Real Estate Added to Summer Placement Process
For the ongoing IIM Ahmedabad Summer Placements 2026 cycle, two new industry cohorts were introduced to the placement roster: fashion and real estate. In the fashion cohort, Raymond participated as a recruiter. The real estate cohort featured participation from Eden Landmarks and Experion Developers, expanding the variety of career sectors open to management students.
With the end of the second cluster, the third cluster of the summer placement process is scheduled to take place on October 30, 2026.
