CAT Eligibility Criteria 2026
Candidates must note that they will be eligible for the CAT exam only if they meet the academic requirement for post graduation technical courses as determined by the AICTE. CAT 2026 eligibility criteria is:
- Bachelor’s degree with minimum 50% marks or equivalent from a recognized university (45% for SC/ST/PwD candidates
- Final year candidates are also eligible to apply for the CAT exam
- Completed professional degree (CA/CS/ICWA (CMA)/Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries of India (FIAI)) with 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwD candidates)
